What you'll end up with
- Your review app's block, as it is today: its reviews, its stars, its Write a review form and its emails.
- Our Reviews from Amazon block with your Amazon reviews only, and no review form.
Set it up
- Get your Amazon reviews inConnect your products and import or collect their reviews. See Connect products and Collect with Chrome.
- Turn off our review formOn Home, under Display settings, tick Do not allow adding reviews and choose Save in the save bar.
- Add our blockChoose Add Reviews block in the setup guide, or add Reviews from Amazon from the Apps tab in the theme editor.
- Order the blocksDrag our block next to your review app's block. Most stores put their own customers' reviews first and Amazon reviews right after.
- Name it clearlySet our block's Heading to something like "What Amazon buyers say", then save the theme.
What the switch does
- Our block shows only Amazon reviews, with no Write a review button, whatever the block's own "Let shoppers write reviews" setting says.
- Our app refuses review submissions for your store.
- Shopper reviews already written in our app are hidden, not deleted. Turn the switch off and the published ones show again.
- Home and the Reviews page tell you adding reviews is turned off, so nobody on your team wonders why nothing is waiting for approval.
Tips
- Stars under the title: pick one. Keep your review app's stars, or use our Star rating block with a label like "Amazon rating", but not both stacked.
- Match the look: use the Appearance page to give our block your theme's colors so the two blocks sit well together.
- Keep sources clear: every card in our block already says where it came from, like "Verified purchase on Amazon".
Rather have one block? You can move your Amazon reviews into Judge.me instead. Import into Judge.me.
